Description: 3400ft elevation. 17 tent/trailer campsites located along the south side of the lake in a forested area. The adjacent meadow is great for wildlife viewing. Fishing from the accessible pier, motorboating on the lake, or hiking or mountain biking the nearby trails. Visit the Hess homestead cabin nearby for picnicking. Day-use area is a good wildlife viewing area.
Location: From Ione,WA on SR 31 go west on Houghton Rd and follow the lake signs until reaching County Road 2695, then about 5 miles to the lake.
