Description: 6200-foot elevation. 43 single campsites and 1 group area for up to 60 people. Spicer Reservoir offers low-speed boating (boat launch available), and excellent fishing, hiking, and equestrian opportunities. The northern arm of the lake, adjacent to the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness,is managed for non-motorized recreation (canoe and kayak) opportunities. Group site has a covered shelter for eating and cooking.
Location: From Altaville, go northeast on CA 4 then 9 miles southwest on Spicer Reservoir Road(a slow driving road).
