Description: 1300-foot elevation. 17 campsites on a sandy flat area along Kings River are shaded by oak and pine trees. 1 group site in an open sunny area holds up to 50 people. Kings River has 10 miles of whitewater rafting and kayaking in spring and early summer(April through July). Camping is best in spring and fall, hot in summer. Hiking along the river.
Location: Take Belmont Avenue east from Fresno. Follow Belmont Avenue until it turns in Trimmer Springs Road. Continue on Trimmer Springs Road past the community of Piedra and around Pine Flat Reservoir. Campground is located at the east end of the lake on the Kings River.
