Description: 7000-foot elevation. 20 campsites around the shores of Cottowood Lake, nestled in the Salt River Mountains. This small lake is excellent for canoeing and other boating. There is additional flyfishing in the creeks which drain into Cottonwood Lake.
Location: From Afton, take US 89 south 8 miles, and then Forest Route 10208 east 5.5 miles.
