DOGGONE
Effective May 23, dogs will be no longer allowed in Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument according to a temporary restriction order by the Bureau of Land Management which oversees the monument. The order will remain in effect until the agency prepares a plan to resolve the issue over the long term. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the issue of dogs and public safety during the BLM's planning process, which will be completed within the next two years.

Dogs for the visually impaired or other assisted needs are exempted from this order. Other visitors are advised to leave their dogs at home.
