Carson National Forest. The Camino Real Ranger District (southeast of Taos) is closed. Other closures that were in effect
prior to the implementation of the Stage 3 fire restrictions closure in mid-May will remain so. Those
include limitations in Valle Vidal and a handful of roads west of Tres Piedras, all due to elk calving.
Campgrounds Some campgrounds will have a delayed reopening due to staff and concessionaire needs in ramping up operations, including hazard tree and branch removal. Campers should be prepared to bring their own water as it may initially not be available as campgrounds reopen.
Trails All trails will reopen, but some remain severely impacted by windfall from the December winter squall. Not all trails have been surveyed and more may be unpassable. More info at: https://www.fs.usda.gov/carson - The north half of the San Mateo Mts portion of the Cibola National Forest, Magdalena Ranger District is closed.

Santa Fe National Forest Portions of the Jemez Ranger District under the Cerro Pelado Fire
closure order (these are lands east and south of NM 4 to the tribal boundaries) remain closed. Most of the
Pecos/Las Vegas Ranger District, , including the Pecos Canyon and Gallinas Canyon corridors, roads and
trailheads, remain closed at this time. The portions south of Interstate 25 (Rowe/Glorieta Mesa) is
