This map covers the Ruby Mountains Wilderness, the East Humboldt Wilderness and some areas of the Humboldt National Forest surrounding the wildernesses east or south of Elko NV. Developed forest campgrounds are at Angel Lake, and Lamoille Canyon, both have wilderness trailheads nearby. Only hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding permitted on trails in wilderness areas. The Ruby Crest National Recreation Trail, a popular backpacking trail, follows the crest for about 40 miles. No motorized or wheeled vehicles allowed within wilderness areas. Map is useful for NV Hunting Units 101, and 102.
