The 28,000 acre Tahuya State Forest is located in the Hood Canal basin in western Washington.
The DNR published State Forest topographic series highlights recreational opportunities on the Washington state forests and adjoining public lands. The maps are large scale (1" to the mile or larger), show detailed land ownership, water features, roads, and trails. Contour lines are typically at 100' intervals. Designated use of the trail system is color coded. Recreational site locations are symbolized and further described in feature tables. The reverse sides typically contain a variety of climate, history, geology, habitat information and photos.
