From Granite Falls to Darrington scenic drive the Mountain Loop Scenic Byway with numerous opportunities for camping, hiking, fishing, and scenic viewing. From Sedro-Woolley travel east along the Skagit River into North Cascades National Park. Along the way explore the forest roads leading to Baker Lake with opportunities for camping, boating, fishing, and hiking. From Monroe travel east to the Stevens Pass Scenic Byway with camping, and hiking activities. From North Bend travel I-90 east to Snoqualmie Pass, then Keechelus Lake, and into Wenatchee National Forest. From Enumclaw travel east and south into the forest and Mount Rainier National Park, then east of the national park is access to Norse Peak Wilderness and William O Douglas Wilderness for hiking, backpacking, or horse riding. OHV(motorcycles) trails are south of Enumclaw at Frog Mountain or Evans Creek.
