Description: This campground lies along the Middle Fork of the Powder River. To the south, the southernmost peaks of the Bighorn Mountains rise abruptly. Trout fishing is good here, and wildlife is attracted in quantity by the river. A fascinating quick trip is south on Arminto Road, just west of the campground to Butch Cassidy`s infamous Hole in a Wall, the canyon where he and the Wild Bunch sought refuge.

Location: From Tensleep, go 20 miles south on WY 434. Turn east and go 10 miles on the Dry Farm Road, then 11 miles south on Hazelton Road.
