Description: 4400-foot elevation. 3300 acres of upland desert and wetlands bounded by managed cropland. WMA is near American Falls Reservoir. The crops are farmed cooperatively to provide cover and foot for waterfowl and upland game birds like ring-necked pheasant, mourning doves, and partridge. This area supports one of the most varied shorebird population in Idaho, including avocets, sandhill cranes, stilts, and sandpipers. Raptors include eagles, osprey, falcons, hawks, and owls. Hunting for ducks, geese, antelope and small game. Accessible duck blind is available.

Location: From American Falls, go north on ID 39 2.5 miles past Aberdeen. Go east 2 miles on 1400 South (Strang Road), then right on 2500 West (Midway Road), and 0.5 mile to the information center.
