Description: 3700-foot elevation. 12 sites at the confluence of the Spotted Bear River and the Wild and Scenic North Fork of the Flathead River. Fishing for cutthroat in either river, and wading in the Spotted Bear. Float the North Fork Flathead with put-ins upriver at Cedar Flats and downriver at South Fork. If you`re hot to explore the area, multi-use trails of varying lengths head out in all directions. For an excellent view, climb the 7 miles up to the Spotted Bear Fire Lookout.

Location: From the town of Hungry Horse, go east on US 2 less than a mile, following the signs for the east side of Hungry Horse Reservoir. Go 54 miles south on Forest Road 38.
