Description: 3349-foot elevation. 40 campsites on lovely Tally Lake at the foot of the Salish Mountains. Campground includes 2 group sites, one is for up to 25 people for overnight camping and the second is a shelter for day use holding up to 100 people. Activities: Picnicking, swimming at the beaches, sailing, boating, waterskiing, and swimming in the lake; fishing for kokanee, pike, rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout. Hike up the moderately easy overlook trail to get a great view of the lake. Hiking and biking trails are nearby. A trail leads around the lake with scenic views of the area. Wildlife viewing for eagles and other birds. Playground, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits are located in the campground.

Notes: 40-foot maximum trailer length. Extra group fees besides the reservation fee will be collected on site.If you`re looking for family activities, or just some good old environmental education, spend the day at Environmental Education Center at nearby Big Mountain Summit Ski Resort, four miles north of Whitefish. Get there on the resort`s ski lift or gondola, or by hiking up.
