Description: The Mount Hood National Recreation Area protects and preserves recreation, water quality, and habitat on 34,550 acres. It includes the Twin Lakes, Barlow Butte, and Bonney Butte wilderness areas; several campgrounds; and miles of hiking trails. Mountain biking is permitted on trails outside the wilderness boundaries.
