Description: This wilderness protects 3901 acres of the watershed for Slaughter Creek, which feeds into the perennial streams of Beaver Dam Wash. This habitat is important for native fish and large mammals. There are no trails in this wilderness, but it is about 5 miles to hike to the end of Slaughter Creek, where there is a forest trail.

Location: About 40 miles west of St. George. From Motoqua, go north, then hang to the right. The road branches again around the point that Slaughter Creek crosses the road. This is a good point to get out and hike.
