FIRE RESTRICTIONS: This site is OPEN but under Stage I wildfire restrictions.

Description: 3145 foot elevation. This renovated campground (in 2011) on the shores Kaibab Lake is located in a beautiful ponderosa pine forest. 73 campsites (single and double), one large and one small group campsite, and a picnic site with a pavilion. Fishing in Kaibab Lake. Facilities for anglers includes a boat ramp and accessible fishing piers.

Motor boating (10 hp), canoeing, kayaking, and trout fishing on the lake; wildlife viewing, nature trail hiking, group and individual picnicking, camping, and relaxing while enjoying the lake view are the most popular activities at this destination. Interpretive programs are available on weekends. This is a large campground good for riding a bicycle or exercise walking. Easy access to Grand Canyon by car or by train out of Williams. Also easy access from I-40.

Notes: Trailer limit is 40 feet. Motor boats 10 horsepower or less permitted. Extra vehicle fees are $9 at single sites, $15 at double sites. Group site fees for 7 campsites (63 people) with ramada is $156/night. For 7 campsites without ramada is $126/night. For the entire group area fee is $382/night.
