From Coleville travel east to explore the forest roads with opportunities for scenic driving, camping on the river or at lakes, fishing, boating, hiking, and dirt biking on trails. From Ione on the Pend Oreille River scenic drive the byway along the river, or explore the forest with camping, fishing, boating, and hiking at Sullivan lake.
