2021 marked a significant milestone for the Public Lands Interpretive Association. For forty years, we’ve worked to operate bookstores and campgrounds, publish a wide variety of public lands resources, and provide the best information available to public lands users. To celebrate this legacy and the impact of this work, we’ve prepared a special annual report covering our founding, highlights over our forty years, and much more.
Relationships with public lands have changed much in the last forty years, but one thing that has never changed is the hunger for information and opportunity. In our Annual Report you will discover our upcoming educational programs and see how we’re responding to the needs of public land users in new ways. You will also glimpse into each one of our bookstores, seeing the wide variety of public lands across the Southwest and their differing needs.
We will diligently continue our efforts to make public lands accessible to all, none of our work would be possible without you. Whether you’re a card-carrying member, using our recreation maps, visiting one of our bookstores across the Southwest, or simply looking for information, you have contributed to our efforts to educate and inspire and for that, we are grateful.
