From Rawlins travel northeast to North Platte River with opportunities for camping, fishing, and boating; scenic driving on Seminoe Alcova Back Country Byway starts at Sinclair. At Teton Reservoir south of Rawlins enjoy camping, fishing, and boating. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail passes through Rawlins and is marked on the map.
