From Jeffrey City expansive BLM lands are shown to the east and south with opportunities for camping, hiking, horse riding, and mountain biking southeast of Jeffrey City. Visit Independence Rock Historical Site on the California Pony Express National Historic Trail/ Oregon Mormon Pioneer Trail(Hwy 220); trails marked on map. Also the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail is marked.
