From Buffalo travel west to explore a section of Bighorn National Forest. Scenic driving on Cloud Peak Skyway Scenic Byway with opportunities for camping, picnicking, and hiking. Travel east of Buffalo to explore expansive BLM lands. Camping, fishing, and boating at Lake De Smet north of Buffalo. The BLM quadrant maps are scaled at 1:100,000, and cover an area of about 30 x 50 miles.
